Pattachitra Painting Nauka Raas
Pattachitra is a distinct art form that originated in Orissa. It is largely based on the religious paintings that revolve around Lord Jagannath at Puri's famous Jagannath Temple. This painting is hand painted by the skilled artisans of Odisha and has been painted on a pure Tussar Silk cloth, which lends durability and gives longevity to the painting.
This painting depicts a scene of Nauka Vihar of Lord Krishna performing Rasa Leela with Radha and other Gopis. Rasa means 'aesthetics','nectar', 'emotion' or 'sweet taste' and leela means 'act', 'play' or 'dance', which translates to 'a play of sweet love'. Sage Narada considered the devotion of gopikas as Supreme Devotion to the Lord.
It will certainly add a traditional touch to your wall and brighten up your living spaces.
